I want to start by Thanking Jeff Clark for his two outstanding years as CSI Louisville Chapter President. If you were unable to attend the awards banquet in June then you missed a wonderful event which recognized many of the people who have worked to make the CSI successful this year but most importantly, our President, Jeff Clark. There was a good turnout of members and guests and many deserving people were recognized for their contributions to the chapter

As we look forward to the start of the new fiscal year for the Louisville CSI the new officers and I are very excited about the good work done by the previous administration and our ability to get off to a running start. I would like to start by thanking each of the new board members for agreeing to serve the on board this year. For the benefit of some of our newer members I thought I might give you a little background of each of the new board members.
Dale R. Curth CSI, AIA- President. I have been a member of the Louisville CSI since 1984. I am a past Louisville Chapter President and long time Newsletter Editor. I have served numerous times on the Trade Fair Committee . I am a partner at Arrasmith, Judd, Rapp, Chovan Inc.

Amanda Schoonover CSI – Vice-President.
Amanda has been a chapter member since 2004. During this time she has been active on the Trade Fair Committee and most recently as Program Chair. She works for Lynn Imaging.

Tom Raderer CSI, CCS, CCCA –Treasurer.
Tom has been a chapter member since 1982. During his time he has been chapter President, and Vice President, Treasurer, Director, By-Laws Chair and member of the Trade Fair Committee. Tom is a retired engineer from the Louisville Water Company.

Eric M. Springston CSI –Secretary.
Eric is barley past his one year service date since he became a member in 2009. This will be Eric’s firs opportunity to hold an office with the CSI. He filled in several times, as secretary, last year for Terry Brown when he was unavailable. We hope this is the start of a long career in the CSI for Eric and look forward to his participation on the board in the upcoming year. David works for GEM Engineering.

David L. Bauer CSI – Director.
David has been a member of the Louisville Chapter of CSI since 2009 but he has previously been a member of other CSI chapters outside the state. While at the Louisville CSI chapter he has been active on the Trade Fair Committee and will serve as co-chair of the Trade Fair Committee for 2011 and Trade Fair Committee Chair in 2012. David works for Weatherguard Roofing Solutions Inc.

Randal J. Reifsnider CSI, CCS,AIA – Director.
Randy has been a member since 1984. Part of his service has been in the Louisville Chapter and part in the Cincinnati chapter. He is a past Chapter President, a Region Technical chair and Region President and Member of the National Board of Directors. He has been active on the Trade Fair Committee and is the Chair for the 2011 Trade Fair. He is an architect and works for Conspectus, a specification writing service.

As you can see we have a diverse board of men and women, industry and professional members, experienced and in-experienced. I hope you will encourage and support this board as the year goes forward. Watch the calendar for Golf Outing in August and for the Region Conference in July.
